White Micro Composite Fillings

Smaller is better! When teeth exhibit areas of initial decay, micro dental techniques such as air abrasion (“micro sandblasting”) removes the decayed area, creates an anchor pattern and preserves adjacent healthy tooth structures. This technique is minimally invasive and the use of a local anesthetic is frequently unnecessary. Occasionally, however, small pinpoint areas of decay are actually larger and deeper areas of decay described and “upside down mushrooms”. Removing these areas of decay and restoring the areas with adhesive composites usually require local anesthetics.
